We at The Pristine Home LOVE Earth Day. By April 22, we think we’ve seen the last snowfall here in Minnesota, the grass is getting green and it’s time open up the rain barrel. It’s the perfect time to celebrate the earth.
So, what could you win? We’re drawing for a Green Kitchen Set. It includes a Bamboo Kitchen Towel and Dish Cloth in your color choice from MU Kitchen, a Laid Back Dish Brush from Full Circle Home, and a Come Clean DIY Cleaning Set, also from Full Circle Home.
Can you be bribed? We’re looking for product reviews. If you’re willing to share your experience with some other eco-friendly shoppers, you’ll earn TWO entries into our drawing. What? You’re not a current customer? You can still enter! Just tell us what you plan to do to celebrate Earth Day.
Here’s how to enter:
- Post a comment on our blog
- Post a comment on our Facebook Page
- Send us an email: info@ThePristineHome.com
Here’s the fine print:
All entries must be submitted by midnight, Sunday, April 24. You may enter twice. If you give two product reviews, you could have 4 entries. That’s a great way to improve your chances of winning! The winner will be notified by Monday, May 1.

One thing I’m going to do is to figure out what next green step I’m going to add to my life!
Great Yveatte! Let me know what you choose. We all need inspiration!
I have been more than happy with the kitchen towels. They not only dry dishes well but also my granite counter.
Also, I am fond of the lavendar soap – it’s scent is soothing and feels oh so nice on sensitive skin.
Love, love love the bamboo towel products. I have both the bath towels and kitchen towels. I was so impressed with their softness, absorbency, that I bought a extra set for my Mom! She loves them too. Thanks Pristine Home!
Thank you Ann and Jean! You have 2 entries each!
I have two products to review (well, technically 3, but 2 are variants of the same product).
I have 2 of the Damask Stripe Organic Cotton Sheet Set in gold and khaki. These are high quality, 350 threat count Egyptian sheets, which means they are very thick and durable. In addition to being organic, the colors are rich and do not run in the wash. Being cotton, they do get wrinkled coming out of the machine, but the wrinkles lessen somewhat once the sheets are laid out on the bed.
I also have the Woven Bamboo Kitchen Towel and Dish Towel in Amber (a bright, daffodil yellow). The colors are also vivid and the towels very soft and good absorbancy. I was a little disappointed in durability though: within less than a month of regular use, one of the towels developed a hole the size of an eraser. It didn’t fray too much and the hole is small but noticeable. Perhaps I got a bad batch.
Even though I won’t get extra entries for this, I wanted to share what I did for Earth Day: one was to sign a pledge to stop drinking bottled water, since they are a very resource-expensive luxury. I also attended a talk by David Orr about his work on the Oberlin Project—a collaborative “living laboratory” of sustainable (re)development—and his thoughts on how higher education can be leader in bringing various fields and communities to address drastic climate change.
Dear Hazella, I apologize. I thought I had approved your comments. A complete oversight, truly. You did receive 2 entries to our drawing. Please tell me more about the damaged kitchen towel. I can contact MU Kitchen if you think it’s a manufacturers defect.
Again, sorry about the late post approval.
Lee
Hi Lee,
Thanks for getting back to me, and for approving my post. I had second-guesses that perhaps my internet connection failed me when I thought I hit ‘Post Comment’.
With regards to the kitchen towel: I don’t know if there was a preexisting hole that I didn’t catch, or if the fibers were weak in that spot, but the hole is small (actually closer to the size of my fingernail) perfectly round and frayed around the edges. My dad had used it to clean the tile counter, and the next time I see it the hole is there. The rest of the towel didn’t look distressed as if he had clean concrete or anything, which is why I was surprised.
